A friend directed me to this site, where there is abundant prayer, she says.

I do have a serious request. A curious thing happened to me today at work. A co-worker
 
passed by me quickly and whispered quietly that I will be let go from my job soon. She
 
kept walking and wouldn't answer anything else, most likely of fear of someone seeing her
 
talking to me.
 
I have been in this same job for five years and have never had a poor evaluation and no complaints.
 
We do have a new supervisor, though and he is making a lot of changes , and has basically been
 
critical of me and a few others, although we have not done anything differently and our work is good.
 
We are not comfortable with him and see that he is always looking for something to complain about.
 
He often gives the few of us dirty looks and other such childish behavior just to let us know he is not
 
pleased.
 
We do know he has the power to take our jobs from us and we all believe he is capable of doing it
 
without cause. I support a family. This is my career and my education and abilities for it are excellent.
 
I have tried not to fear this man, but his unethical ways,etc. strike fear in my heart that he would
 
not feel badly at all doing whatever he decided to do. It has seemed like the harder I have tried to
 
please him, the more hateful he has been.
 
I have asked God's protection from the loss of my job to have His will in my job.
 
I just feel there are some kind of strong demonic influences, and I don't know for what reason and
 
what their plans are.
 
Thank you everyone for praying for me and this situation I am in. I have not been sleeping well, and
 
have been very tense because of it lasting so long.
