Frank Molver's Hide & Seek post about the bridge collapsing made me think of a newspaper article I read many years ago. It was the story of a carload of teens. They were smoking pot and driving carelessly along country roads. Suddenly, without warning, the road collapsed (it was determined later that it was due to days of steady rain in the area, causing a sinkhole) - the car plummeted into a deep sinkhole and was buried. All in the car died. How many of those young people woke up that morning realizing that their hours were numbered and they would soon perish and  stand before God, I wonder?  It is a picture of the unsaved of this world - recklessly rushing through life with careless abandonment, believing that they will all live to a ripe old age - never realizing that judgment is coming!
