The rapture has nothing to do with the Jews, the rapture has to do with the catching away of Born again, Spirit filled Christians, the Church,  not the Jews...But once the Rapture DOES occur on Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpers, that is when finally, the Jews will believe...... This is when we see the 144,000 believers, and the 2 witnesses.
So yes, we need to mix Jewish Understanding, because the original bible was written in Hebrew.....   And the reason so many people connect the rapture with Feast of Trumpets, is because that is when the bible says it will occur,  At the sounding of the Last Trump, the Dead shall be raised, and those that remain shall be caught up in the clouds with Jesus.
The last trump occurs ONE time with regards to the rapture, and that is at the ending of Rosh Hashanah.   Now it may not happen this year, it may not happen in 50 years..   However,  we are the last generation, which leads me to believe it will be very soon.... We are the generation that saw Israel Reborn..... well that 40 yrs to waunder in the darkness is coming to an end, and I think its this year....After the Rapture,  the Jews will NO longer have to waunder in the darkness,  all 144,000 of them.   Of course, there will be the ones who believe that the antichrist is their messiah, until the later half of the tribulation, known as the great tribulation.... at this time, the rest of the jews will know who the real Messiah is.
