Square Nebula.  One of these links further links to a gorgeous picture
of Supernova l897A, which must be what you are speaking of when you
describe the intersecting circles forming a central figure which
ancients called the "almond."

I hope NO ONE misses this picture!  It is gorgeous!

I had a long series of dreams involving geometry, many years ago.  I
had visions of geometric forms becoming more complex each time, until
they reached a point where they simply stopped.  At the point where
they stopped I was "walking" inside the geometric form.

So I do appreciate geometry, as you do.
