"Billy Graham Classic 1969"

Last weekend I watched the Billy Graham Classic presentation of the Billy Graham services held in New York City in 1969.   A couple of points about what he said.

1. He expected Christ to return any day. He said that when he woke up in the morning his first prayer was for the return of Jesus that day.

2.  He discussed the days of Noah and emphasized God's mercy in that God used Methuselah (the oldest person to ever live) as His sign for judgement, that is Methuselah's name means, "when he dies it shall come", with the "it" being the flood.
Methuselah lived 969 years. I don't know if it means anything but God has given us more that 2X Methuselah on this go around (2 X 969 = 1938 years).

3. The three biggest problems that world faced in 1969 were Race, Poverty and War.
Nothing has changed in the last 38 years except all those problems have gotten worse and now we can add Global Warming to the list.
