"May 14th"

Dear Doves,

Today I was reading the newsletter at ( http://saveus.org/newsletter/0705_newsletter_web.pdf ) when I noticed in the article entitled "Twelfth Anniversary" the statement that the cross was planted at Jamestown, Virginia May 14, 1607!!!  May 14 just screamed out at me!  Maybe many of you already knew that Jamestown and Israel were established as new lands on the same date, but I wasn't aware of it before.  I think it's significant!  God is awesome!  He establishes the new land of America for Christ by planting a cross in the land May 14, 1607, and then plants Israel in their homeland 341 years later, again on May 14th!  America is 400 years old in 2007, and Israel will be 60 years old in May 14, 2008.  I also find it interesting that May 14th is the 134th day of the year (!) leaving 231 days remaining. But, one thing that perplexes me is that Israel celebrates their independance on May 9th ( http://judaism.about.com/od/israeliholidays/a/indep_mirvis.htm ), and in addition to that my calendar that I ordered this year from Chuck Missler showing Jewish dates, etc. doesn't even mention Israel's independance on May 14th of this year!  It does however show on May 15th that the new State of Israel was attacked in 1948.  How could they NOT celebrate their Independance Day on May 14, the date they were established in their own land?

Also, on my calendar I note that the month of May is divided between the Jewish months of Iyyar and Sivan, May 14th falling on the 27th of Iyyar. However many important things happened in the month of May--1st Illuminati founded 1776 in Bavaria!  YIKES, 1776?!!!  Also the Humanist Manifesto signed 1933. On the 6th the American Bible Society was founded in NYC.  On the 11th in 330 A. S. Constantinople was established.  On Mother's Day May 13th, we have the vision at Fatima n 1917, and an attempt to assinate Pope John Paul II in 1981.  The only mention on the 14th is the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804 begins.  On the 15th the new state of Israel is attacked in 1948 by the armies of Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Iraq that lasted for 8 months. Then, on the 17th in 1939 the Peel Partition Plan and Balfour Declaration Policy was abandoned, severely restricting Jewish immigration and land purchases in Palestine. Mount St. Helens erupts on the 18th in 1980, and on the 19th which is Armed Forces Day for us, Pope Paul VI launched a Secretariat for non-Christians, embracing Islam, Hinduism, et.al.
( Vatican Toward a Global Ecumencial Movement in 1964).  Then, if that wasn't enough, in 325 A. D. we have the First Ecumenical Council in Nicea.  On the 22nd of May in 1995, the Pope finally apologizes for crimes against non-Catholics.  The Feast of Shavuot (Feast of Weeks) and the Birth of The Church (Pentecost), the the giving of the 10 Commandments, and the beginning of the Thirty Years War in 1618.

So, throughout His-story, you can see that many important things happened in May.  For a more detailed list of May 14th in particular, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_14

It makes one wonder what bodes for America after the gross ways we have slid into apostasy over these 4 centuries, and as well the interesting date of May 14th for Israel and America.

Your Sister in Christ,
