Doves and Tennessee Lady, You had a couple questions that i hope these scriptures will answer. Question one---1 Thes. 5:17 says "The dead IN CHRIST will rise first," and Revelation 20:5 says " The unrighteous dead are raised at the end of the thousand year reign"  Question 2 concerning "christians" who die living a wordly life----Matthew 6:24 " No man can serve two masters for either he will hate the one and love the other or hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon" I believe the word christian is used far to loosely today in order to truly be a CHRISTian it's clear to me that we must follow the teachings of Christ and one thing He said reguarding this subject is in, Revelation 18:4 " And I heard another voice from heaven saying come out of her my people that ye be not  partakers of her sins and that you recieve not of her plagues" He is referring to Babylon here which is the worlds system, people who are focused on the world rather than Christ. It is a very tight walk we are called to or the path would not be narrow, truly few choose to walk it.   In Christ, Karen
