Dear friends:

Several months ago I asked all of you to pray that our house in
Virginia would sell because by faith we committed to a house in
Florida and I needed relief from two mortgage payments.

Well, days, weeks and months went by and the house did not sell.  You
know about the present housing market.  But we believed that God was
not limited to man's housing market and we kept on trusting and
confessing, fighting the temptation to be stressed.

Big news!!!  The house finally sold!!!  Ta-da!!!  Praise the Lord!!!

But here is the story behind the story...

Because we were so stressed financially with a negative cash flow, I
had drastically slashed our giving.  I figured God understood.  I am
sure He did, and He did not condemn me.  It's like He said, "Okay
Bramlett.  No problem.  But I am going to show you something."  Did He ever.

In late July, I became convicted about it and dramatically increased
our giving, not under compulsion or legalistically according to the
Law of Moses, but as we purposed in our hearts, for God loves a
cheerful giver.  That was on July 20.  I know that something was
released in the spirit realm because after all those months, in only
19 days, the house sold, at a reasonable price!

Not only that, but the total amount I gave plus extra was returned to
us from an unexpected source!  Isn't God amazing?

Anyhow, thanks for praying.  Your prayers not only helped sell my
house but they also taught me a good lesson!
