To all doves,

I just finished reading and listening to the link that was posted in this
letter from someone named Lauren.  I think it is my responsibility to let
everyone know the military at least the Army has been taking care of the
families of their soldiers for quite some time now and it is not unusual
that soldiers give information of family members before they are deployed in
the event that something of unforeseen circumstance happens and immediate
family members have a plan to evacuate the base the are presently living in
especially overseas.

Furthermore most of the statements made by the woman that seems to be
warning are in my view a false representation of predeployment planning.
Although this woman should know better since she claims she was around the
military all her life she has loaned herself to panic building in order to
"spread the word of God" and try to win souls.  I was in the US Army for 10
years and serve further as a civilian abroad presently and the military
would never inform a soldier of a suspected coming attack on our soil unless
it had definite proof.  I do not know how most of you see it but in my book
that was always a sure fire way for me to discern a false profit.  If you
need to scare a person into believing, then you totally missed Jesus'
message.

The general gave his warning of an imminent attack but even a general has
orders to follow as long as he is still in the military.  Even Colon Powell
followed orders before the UN and then soon later resigned his office.

If you think about it logically the extreme Islamists do not want to attack
the United States now because right now they have us right where they want
us.  Divided into 2 fronts "for and against".  If they attacked us now with
an attack as large or larger than Sept. 11 that would seal their fate and
there would be very little resistance in our country to retaliation.  Right
now they have it good with troops that are deployed in Afghanistan unable to
touch them in parts of the country because of the lack of resolve that is
now present in our country. Why would they want to change that?
