Jesus Christ, the plan of God, - part one !
In Romans chpt. 8th Paul tells us about Jesus as the plan of God, to our redemtion, salvation and a new birth, to a new creation, with Jesus as the firstborn. - John mention it in his chpt. 1: 9-18.v.
But we still live in our old adam-eve body, as long we live here, and it can give us problems, and do it again and again, thats the risen for Pauls teachings, and why we should read it, especially in our evil and confussing time. We know from Isaiah 55, that the words from God is Living Words doing what God have told it to do, so lets "eat it" with our eyes, mouth, ears and mind, - and let Gods word do its work in us.
Some people say, that we shall do nothing by our self, we wil all be changed in that - twinkling of an eye - when Jesus come back. - But its not what I read in the Bible, - I know, and you know to , - that Jesus He say: he who loves Me, is he who obey My commands, as I obey My Fathers commands !
Paul said that we are given the Holy Spirit, as a pant of total ressurection and new birth, when Jesus comes back in the clouds. - And Jesus say that the Holy Spirit will open the scripture for us, and show us the whole true, and how to follow Jesus in obey and worship.
Im sure that the Holy Spirit, who is the Divine Authority on Earth in our time, He have used Paul to teach us, about how to live the life in Jesus, and be prepared for the changing, in f.example Romans 8th, so lets read it in parts and think it over, take a deep breath, and then read it again.
Its time now, because if Jesus not comes for us, before the darkness fall, then there will be a darkness so deep, that we cant work at all, cant read and probably not write free as now. It is so close now that we can smell and even touch it !
Lets prepare, here is how I believe we can do it, part one.
have a blessed future with Jesus our Great Lord and Love, - Marana-tha - Jan Mikael !
Romans 8: 1-14.v.
8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
8:13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
