Ancient Ice???  NO !!!
 in the 1940s several aircraft were abandoned on the Greenland ice cap...
in the 1980s they were located under 240 feet of accumulated ice !!!
 
240 feet of ice accumulated in 40 years during [B]the great warming period[/B] of the 1940s  thats SIX feet a year during the great warming period !!!
 
during the little ice age 1350 to 1850 how many feet a year accumulated???
 
The Greenland and Antarctic ice is about 6000 feet thick....... at an average of  10 feet per year accumulation that's only 600 years to achieve the one mile of ice...
 
Guess what???  Its been 600 years since the little ice age began about 1350
