"Peggy : Psalm 27:10"
Dear Peggy,
The wounds from family and friends
penetrate far more deeply than wounds from a stranger in the general
populace.
There isn't a Christian in the world -- we believe -- that
hasn't suffered from family and friends.
Our Lord tells us in the Gospel
that "a man's worst enemies are those of his own household".
Matthew 10:26
and Micah 7: 5, 6 ( Matthew 10:36 )
Jesus Himself was "cut off " from
Mary and his half-brothers and half-sisters who thought He was mad,
especially when hearing Him speak as a Messiah. Luke 8: 19 --21
.... Mark 3: 31-33 .... Matthew 12: 46 --50
and John 7: 5 -
8.
But Jesus did not give place to that wound. Instead , He said that those
who do the will of the Father are His true brothers and sisters... His true
family.
Of course, His mother finally did come to place her trust in
Jesus, as the Holy Spirit enlightened her. And she awaits the Rapture just as
much as we all do.
Perhaps your mother will come full circle and realize
that she is being deceived. Perhaps not.
Either way, God has promised to be
a Mother and a Father to us. Isaiah 66: 13
Psalm 27: 10 " When
my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me UP."
Yes, it hurts. It hurts
deeply. And all the goody-sayings in the world really don't help. But we are all
being tested
at full measure in these Last days and we need to overcome. We
need to make God ALL that we need.
Easy to say... hard to
do.
Please know that all of us here at the Doves are your true family,
caring very much for your concerns and well-being.
There are many of your
brothers and sisters here that are praying for you and caring. We have "been
there; done that" in various ways with our own families.
Go in peace and
may His love surround you.
We are keeping this in our prayers that your
Mother sees the truth,
Jim and Angela
