Dear Patty,You most certainly are in our prayers for your doctors to practice wisdom and skill in regards to the condition of your health
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2007/pattyh821.htmThere's an old saying, "It's always darkest just before dawn", meaning that when things look their worst, there comes a big turn-around. So we hope with you that God will have a big turn-around concerning the Barret's diagnosis.
We will not take you off of our prayer list until the answer comes. Just like Jacob told the Angel, "I will not let you go until you bless me". In the old-days they called that "Praying Through"... meaning praying through until you hear from the Lord and He answers your prayer.
Please let us know the results of your more extensive lung tests next Wednesday ( August 29 at 2:45 Central DS Time ) concerning the lungs and lymph nodes. Many of the Doves will be praying, as will Jim and I.
It is hard to have peace when one's health is in question. But anxiety only makes the situation worse. So --as hard as it may be-- we have to just Let Go and Let God handle the healing of the esophagus, lungs and chest area ...with or without doctors --whichever way He chooses. God works through the natural and supernatural, both.
We have to trust ... "do our best , and commit the rest "
May you experience that miraculous peace that God gives to His own, which surpasses understanding. A peace that the world cannot give us, nor can it take it away.
Our love and prayers,
Jim and Angela Goodrick
