It was a rationale by a Catholic Bishop Muskens for calling God by any name ( hint, hint ...  like "Allah " ).

I wonder if Allah had a Son named Jesus who died for my sins ? If not, he doesn't fill the bill.

Allah had no Son; therefore He is not God.

Our God is one, the three Persons in One Being.

All of us like to be called by our real name, and not by some name someone else designates for us.
God , by any other non-Scriptural name is simply not God.
