I learned a new word from my teen age son, emo. Emo is short for emotional. There is a fad amongst young folks called emo. They have their special hair style and they wear certain clothes, there is emo music and emo web sites. They are sensitive.
 
So too I guess we Christians are subject to this. Some would call it a bad hair day. Some one says something and we stew about it all day. Or we get easily upset when things don't go our way. Why is that? Perhaps we are so sensitive because we are drifting away into the life style of the rest of the world. It seems to  be a symptom of our spiritual health. The peace we should have is spent on stewing about problems and we also get easily offended. I guess being easily offended would be a pride issue and the lack of peace would be a lack of focus and spending time with God, not much devotion to what realy matters.
 
I realy don't want to be an emo Christian.  Take a deep breath and focus on what realy matters.
