Just a few more very interesting dates, which seem to prove God never does things without a plan or purpose, and that there is no such thing as a "coincidence" with Him!
IYAAR 28, 5699 / May 17, 1939:
In a national gathering of Arab nations to London, at the invitation of the British government, the British White Paper was presented. In a complete affront to both the Jewish people, and the Balfour Declaration of 1917, and for fear of offending the Arab nations, it was the intent of this political document to halt the development of a Jewish State in the Middle East.

28, 5727 / June 7, 1967:
In one of the most incredible battles of all time, and despite odds that go beyond astronomical, Israel recaptured all of Jerusalem, during the Six-Say War.
By the way, and just as a quick note, our Lord Jesus Christ himself was "raptured" to Heaven in the view of His disciples, also on this very day on the Jewish calendar (Iyaar 28).
