Rene mentioned that the new star has been named Mira, which means wonderful. I don't know what language that is in, but in Spanish, "mira" means "LOOK!"  in the imperative tense, which is a command. It could also be translated as "observe" or "consider". I would think this is a heavenly command to be watching the signs in the heavens.
