"Re: Martin (4 Aug 2007) "Rosh Hoshannah, Yom Kippur, and the Feast of Tabernacles""

Yes, Martin, I believe this is the simple truth as you have stated. If my understanding as found in my book, coupled with additional research on the website, it would seem the following are likely:

Rapture of the Church -- Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) 2007 ~ September 14th.
Second Coming of Christ with the Church -- Yom Kippur (Atonement) 2017 ~ September 30th.
Dwelling of Christ on Earth -- Tabernacles 2017.
Blessing of the Millennium -- Hanukkah 2017.

Why 10 years? To reflect the Ten Days of Awe (between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur) where the works of God are seen.

The final seven years (2010-2017) would be Daniel's 70th week, if this is correct. The intermediate 3 years is the time for the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39, then the rebuilding period involving the ten kingdoms. These then give way to the Antichrist, who then in power makes the covenant of death with Israel, which begins the 7 years--Daniel's 70th week.

My book forecasted the Rapture on Trumpets 2006 since the 40 360-day years from 6/7/1967 ran out on November 8, 2006 (Heshvan 17)--the day the Flood had begun in Noah's day. Since the Rapture would precede judgment, it would seem that it should precede 11/8/2006. However, now it is understood that 280 days after Heshvan 17, 2006 comes to Elul 1, 2007 (8/15). This is the gestation period and Elul 1 is a significant day tied to the Feast of Trumpets and the time to repent. So in limited knowledge the wrong conclusion was made with correct data. Hopefully things are closer to being on track this time.

Either way we will know soon.

in Christ,
Daniel Matson
