"Cinda re: tithing"

You'll probably get a bunch of responses to this one. Here's my take -
1. We're not under the Law so don't try to put yourself there!
2. God doesn't NEED anything from us, including our dough. That being
said, He loves to partner with us in all things and as we give in His
name to something the Spirit has led us to, that's what happens. And it's
joyful for both.
3. Our "needs" are met by God through faith, not compulsion (or, more
accurately, spiritual abuse).
4. (My own opinion) It's no fun for God to partner with His child if the
kid's a downer. So give what you can give cheerfully. As with everything
else in the Christian's life, this is where the battle with the flesh is
fought and the only way to win is to give every negative thought, fear
and concern to Jesus to deal with. In faith, enter His rest.

I could go on and on, but will leave it there.

Your Brother,
Brad
