On 10 August 2007 my half-brother walked into the hospital for an MRI to check out an intestinal problem. While waiting for the test he lost consciousness and his heart stopped. The doctors revived him 7 times. On that day he was 10 x 2701 inclusive days old. 2701 is the gematria of the 7 Hebrew words of Genesis 1:1.
 
After the seventh time the doctors restarted his heart they said he was brain dead and that only the drugs were keeping his heart beating - when the drugs worn off he would be gone. They said his heart was too torn up by the previous attempts to revive him and he would survive. The family cried, but they did not give up hope. We all prayed and placed his life into the Lord’s hands. Within minutes he began to come back. At first the nurses heard only a faint pulse, but it gradually became stronger and stronger.

As I write this letter, he has been in intensive care for over nine days. He is conscious and recognizes everyone he knew. He now has pneumonia and is still on a respirator, but it may be removed soon. After he had been transferred from the ER room to intensive care a nurse showed a family member an earlier panel taken of his vitals and said that it was the panel of a dead man.
