"Song of Songs for Fall!"

Ref: http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2007/tonye823-1.htm

Thank you Tony for always searching out the hidden things. Autumn is also when the grape harvest comes in.  I refer the Doves (speaking of Doves- Noah sends out the dove on 17 Elul!) to Song of Songs 2:1.

My amplified Bible names the little rose an “autumn crocus” confirmed by a Blue Letter Bible search. The Hebrew word being: chabatstseleth =

1) meadow-saffron, crocus, rose, flowering in autumn, and placing Song of Songs firmly in Autumn.

Authorized Version (KJV) Translation Count — Total: 2

AV — rose 2
