"Re: Linda Freeman and the lost tribes"

Dear Doves,

I read the postings on this website daily but this is the first time I have
written. I was impressed with Linda's summary of the evidence concerning the
present-day location of the 10 lost tribes. I second the website she offered
as reference, viz http://www.britam.org to all who are interested in
pursuing this vital information. I, too, do not agree with everything the
website has to offer but the foundations are more or less correct, to my
knowledge. The writer is himself an orthodox Jew and therefore misses the
keystone of the crucified Christ in his work; nevertheless he is not
antagonistic toward Christianity and his research is sound.

The subject material of the lost 10 tribes is something I have been
privileged to be familiar with for some 20 or so years now. It is also a
subject that one needs to approach with some caution but the benefits are
enormous. I was so glad to read Linda's posting as it is the first time I
have seen such material on the fivedoves website. It is my absolute
conviction that it is impossible to gain a sound foothold on biblical
prophecy without a solid grounding in the knowledge of who the 10 tribes are
today since a greater portion of the prophets is directed at these people.
The faithfulness of God Almighty in keeping the promises he made to Israel
in such a wonderful saving way over such an enormous period of history is
one of those beautiful stories of Scripture and, as Linda alluded to,
intrinsic to the gospels.

Linda also touched on the four living creatures of Ezekiel 1 as a cryptic
reference to the tribes and their subsequent histories. I cannot really
comment in depth on this, but I can inform those interested that these four
creatures also represent the four fixed signs of Mazzaroth, the twelve
zodiac signs. In other words, the heavens, of which the 12 tribes were a
terrestrial representation, each tribe correlating with a particular sign.
There are several internet references on the subject, and the subject was
popular among Christians of the late 19th Century. Bullinger wrote on the
subject from a Christian perspective, and his work is available online at
philologos.org for those interested. Bullinger is the only writer who got
all 12 tribes correctly correlated to the 12 signs.

Linda has opened up a wide range of very exciting topics in her posting. I
am a New Zealander, and know for sure that the hand of the Almighty has
guided my nation till the present. Our national anthem is 'God defend New
Zealand', and we enjoy the great blessings that God promised to Israel to
this day. I believe, too, that the United States in particular is a peculiar
nation that God has set aside for Himself. It is refreshing to see Linda
alluding to this. It breaks my heart when I read misguided postings
believing the United States to be the Babylon of the Revelation. Truly,
nothing could be further from the truth!

In response to Linda's request for postings on the breastplate and the gems,
no internet references come very close to identifying all the gems with any
degree of certainty. This is a subject that I have specialised in for some
16 years and I have been extremely blessed from the Lord as I have searched
the matter out. I would be happy to share what I have learned on this
subject if anyone is interested. The only stuff I have written so far can be
found at Vernon Jenkins' website under the heading 'Double Indemnity'.
However, this material concerns only the gematrical aspects of the
breastplate, which in themselves are still extraordinary. And there remain
yet three more parts to the 'Double Indemnity' series yet to be published,
as well as a remarkable arrangement of the 12 tribes into the Star of David.
Fascinating stuff, but these do not deal with the identities of the stones
and the correlation to the tribes per se.

And yes, Linda, the 12 stones at Revelation 21 are the same 12 that were
found on the original breastplate detailed at Exodus 28. However, at
Revelation 21 they are enounced in a very specific order that informs the
structure they pertain to, which is the New Jerusalem cube. Extremely
exciting stuff once you've grasped it!

I hope this correspondence might be published, and that it might pique
interest. There are some stunning levels of Scripture that await revelation!

Yours in Christ,
Stephen Coneglan
