"Two overlooked factors in Israel prophecy"

Concerning Biblical prophecy for Israel
two factors are commonly overlooked.

(1) The present restoration is a restoring of the Israel that was cut off by Rome.  The problems and conditions that then were are like now: same people, same unbelief, same Sanhedrin accountability, and soon the same European peacekeepers.  The prophecies for now are about regathering the Jews still in unbelief.  But this is not the primary fulfillment because most prophecies are about Kingdom-age Israel.

(2) Kingdom-age Israel will comprise people groups not presently known to have Israeli ancestry.  The human characteristics of Millennial Israel will be more diverse than we now think.  The two captivities went eastward, and their later migrations were mostly throughout Asia.  By now most Asian peoples have Israeli ancestry, even if not yet recognized.  If prophecy is studied with this thought in mind, many difficulties will disappear, and new insights about Millennial Israel will come.

Many prophecies are not for now because they are Kingdom-age.  No one knows how much different Kingdom-age Israel will be.  It is like asking how much different will be other Kingdom-age nations, such as India, Italy, Peru, etc.  God alone knows.
