"Pentacost Rapture 2007"

No "shofar" to be blown this Rosh Hashana, the last one before 40 years have passed since Jerusalem Day, June 1967.

It makes since then that the Rapture will "probably" (just guessing, not date setting!) be on Pentacost 2007.

The Christian date for Pentecost is May 27, 2007. Pentacost is called "Shavuot" on the Jewish Calender, and according to the popular tradition it falls on the sixth day of the Hebrew month of Sivan, or Wednesday, May 23, 2007. That will be just a few days short of June 7, 2007 when a "generation" of 40 years will have passed since the city was liberated (However, "Yom Yerushalayim" is celebrated May 16, 2007).

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

However this "50th" day after Passover does not match the correct day of the week, which according to the Bible must fall on a Sunday. A certain branch of Judaism called "Karaite" rejects the man-made traditions and follows the literal Bible reading that sets Pentacost/Shavuot on the correct day of the week, Sunday.

Some good reasons to expect a Pentacost Rapture:

1. Jerusalem liberated on June 7, 1967, and the Pentacost of May 23, 2007 will be just shy of a "40" year generation from that date.

2. God likes to complete a matter on the "self same day" to demonstrate his control over the timing, and since the Church was born on Pentacost, and it will probably be "raptured" complete on Pentacost.

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

2. The fig tree (See Mark 13:28 and Matthew 24:32)  puts forth leaves in the spring around the time of Pentacost, so that is the time to look up!

3. In the second chapter of the Song of Songs, the bridegroom calls the bride to "rise up" and "come away" and they see each other face to face, and this occurs in the Spring:
My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
May the Lord return at ANY moment, nothing better than to leave RIGHT NOW, but I think the likely scenario is that it may be next Spring, at Pentacost 2007.
