"A GREAT HARVEST AHEAD"

A GREAT HARVEST AHEAD

Recently, I had this dream:  In it, I had been preaching and ministering to a large crowd of people.  At the end I offered the usual invitation for the people who were not saved to accept Christ as their personal Savior.  I closed my eyes and began a closing prayer.  In my spirit, I did not really expect that any would come forth (as many had begun to leave even before I finished).  I assumed that when I opened my eyes, nearly everyone would be gone.  But to my surprise, the altar (indeed, the whole room) was FILLED with people.  I had to call others to come and help with the crowd of people wanting counsel and prayer it was so huge.

This vision has stayed with me, and keeps reverberating in my spirit.  As I mused about it, the LORD began to reveal to me an encouraging message.  That we who have prayed for our loved ones and seen their hearts cold and indifferent, and who have spoken the Words of Life to others only to be rejected, must KEEP OUR HEARTS AND MINDS free from the thoughts of defeat and becoming weary in WELL DOING.  We will "reap if we faint not" the scriptures assure us.  We must not only preach and teach others about faith, but live it before them.  Too often we too are guilty ourselves in that we go "by sight" and not by the "faith" we preach, letting ourselves become discouraged when we do not see an abundance of fruit for our labors.   We must realize that God is at work preparing the hearts of many people.  For The Spirit tell us to be assured that soon the day is approaching when the hearts of many, many souls will be drawn and eagerly seek for the Word.  Events of the time we are facing will bring them to seek hope and run to it like a thirsty animal to water.  It is HIS doing.

Each of us are LIGHTS set on a hill.  We cannot be hidden, because the light the emanates from us is like the beacons along the shores of the sea.  God has set us where He decides.  It may even be a desolate and dangerous place where he has placed us, but that is because our Light is a merciful warning to those who approach it.  Yet, He may also set others along peaceful harbors to show where safe havens can be found.  But our BEACON is given so that "Others may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven".  Our LIGHT is given us to both WARN and to LEAD OTHERS TO SAFE HAVEN.

How grateful are the mighty ships that you are there! For when greater the storms rise and the seas roar, they will be anxiously looking in every direction for the LIGHT that is in you and rush toward it with grateful hearts!

Dear Church,

At prayer meeting Wednesday night, August 23, 2006, in the prayer room as I began to pray for the church, my Father began to show me a vision. I saw many stalks of wheat that looked to be dead. I asked the Lord "what am I seeing?" At this point the wheat began to glisten as gold. I then began to see a movie before my eyes. First I saw the church ground plowed and rowed up as a field ready for planting. Next, I saw seeds being dropped into the ground and water being poured over them. There were many workers in the field keeping it watered and fertilized. The field was so beautiful and green, and looked so full of life. But as I looked on, the field appeared to be dead. I asked the Lord, "why did the wheat die?" He said to me, "look again my child

it is not dead, but is ripe unto harvest," and at this point it began to glisten as it did at the beginning of the vision. The Lord said to me that night,"My Church is about to receive a bountyful harvest." This vision excited me because the Lord has told me the church is about to receive a major outpouring of His Spirit and demonstration of His power. Glory!

Friday at work, I was praying and God began to speak to me about the vision again. God said to me "the ground is My Church, the seed is My Word, the water is My Spirit, the workers are My Ministers and Desciples, and the fertilizer is the manifestation of My power in miracles, healings, deliverances, and blessings bestowed upon my children through the years." God said,"My Word, My Seed has been planted by My chosen Ones, watered by My Spirit, fertilized by the manifestation of My power, and grown with My Son as the Light source. My Church, My Beloved, is not dead, it is ripe unto harvest, and there is a bountiful harvest. Did I not tell you in My Word in Galations 6:9, so lets not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we do not give up." Don't give up Church. The harvest is ready. All we have to do is reap what our Lord has given us. He gave us all in His Son, our Lord, and He wants us to receive it all. He wants us to have the abundant life He died to give us. He wants us, the Church, to reap all that He died to give us.

The Lord said the field is ripe unto harvest, so lets reap. The Lord said if I be lifted up I will draw all men unto Me. Lift Him up, praise Him and let's reap the harvest He has for us. Glory!
