THE ‘BATTLE IN THE NORTH’ IS NOT ARMEGEDDON
Whether this takes place on the ‘9th of Av’ or next week this ‘battle’ lurks on near horizon and God has all the weapons in His hands
This battle in the north with its parallel scriptures (Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Obadiah 1, Habakkuk 3, Zechariah 12, and many others) describe the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’. It was through these scriptures that the Lord spoke to my heart. Israel with the mighty hand of God will again use ‘natural catastrophes’ to gain the victory.
Just as he did in Isaiah 37: 7 Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumor, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. 36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand (185,000): and when they arose early IN THE MORNING, behold, they were all dead corpses.
Make no doubt about it, the present conflict is the battle described in the above scriptures and we need to pray with great faith in line with this prophecy.
The prayer for Psalm 83:13-18 is answered, and the outcome of this battle is described Isaiah 17:9, Obadiah 1:18, Habakkuk 3:12-13 and Zechariah 12:6–10.
THE PRAYER FOR GOD’S INTERVENTION
FIRE, TEMPEST AND STORM ARE PART OF PRAYER
Psalm 83:13 O my God; make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. 14 As the fire burns wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire; 15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is YHVH, art the most high over all the earth.
PRAYERS ANSWERED
Isaiah 17:7 At THAT DAY shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. 8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. 9 In THAT DAY shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, (Syria’s) and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.
TEMPEST AND WHIRLWIND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ISAIAH 17:13-14
(13) The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. (14) And behold at evening time trouble; and BEFORE THE MORNING he is not. (see Isaiah 37:36 above)
HEZBOLLAH’S LEADERS DESTROYED
Obadiah 1:8 Shall I not in THAT DAY, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, (Hassan Nasarallah) and understanding out of the mount of Esau? 9 And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of mount Esau may be cut off by slaughter. 10 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.
Habakkuk 3:12 Thou (God Almighty) didst march through the land in indignation; thou didst thresh the heathen (Islamic nations) in anger. 13 Thou went forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thy anointed; thou wounded the head out of the house of the wicked (Hezbollah’s Nasarallah), by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
WEAPONS OF GOD’S INDIGNATION IN HABAKKUK
Habakkuk 3:9 Thy bow was made quite naked bow, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers. 10 The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high. 11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thy arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear. 12 Thou did march through the land in indignation; thou did thresh the heathen in anger.
THE FIREPOT AND FLAMING TORCH IN ZECHARIAH 12
Zechariah 12:6-12 (6) "On THAT DAY I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume right and left ALL the surrounding peoples, BUT JERUSALEM WILL REMAIN INTACK in her place. (7) "The LORD will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem's inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.
(8) On THAT DAY the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them. (9) On THAT DAY I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.
(10) "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son."
The above verses from Zechariah 12:6-10 are describing an end time revival in Israel; it will affect the religious Orthodox Jewish community the most. This orthodox revival is connected to this ‘miraculous’ military victory over Israel's enemies from the surrounding nations (Zech. 12:2), which are all ruled by Islam.
Verse 10, IS NOT describing the coming of the Lord. When that takes place, nobody will need a spirit of grace and supplication in order to see him. Everyone will see the Messiah when he comes. "For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (Mt 24:27)
No, they have turned away from and trusted not in the Set Apart One of Israel, their Elohim, and Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, relying on Egypt/Babylon, the United States.
It says, (11)"On THAT DAY the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (12) The land will mourn each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves." It is only among the religious Jews that men and women meet separately.
When the appointed time comes, contrary to what many Christians think, it will be very easy for God to graft the orthodox Jews "into their own olive tree." (Rom 11:24)
"Now is the time to stand in the gap for Israel and pray. It is time for revival and restoration and the outpouring of God's Spirit upon all flesh. "
