"A cry from the heart....."
Dear brothers
and sisters in Christ,
I don't know where
to begin and ask that the Holy Spirit will guide whatever I write.
We are a family who
have tried our best to follow the Lord's leading for many years, taking
us through life in a frequently precarious and difficult way - THE Way.
Recently, one of our five children ( and right now only the Lord knows
why) has turned her back on God and us, to rush into the arms of the world
and ALL it has to offer.
We have been through
so many tough times as a seven-some, because of our Saviour's Love for
us and ours for Him - and remained steadfast in our faith. However, we
now realise that gradually, though not imperceptably our 18 year old (eldest)
daughter has rejected the Word and decided to have an unholy physical relationship
with another girl, choosing to leave home the same day she told us.
We are devastated
by this, but what has just happened is one in a long line of seemingly
insurmountable problems we have faced daily since moving five years ago
to a very isolated place in a foreign country, knowing not why except that
we were following the Lord's lead.
We are praying constantly,
seeking His will for us all, "loving God more than our daughter/sister",
not knowing wether we are waiting for Jesus to find the lost sheep, the
return of the prodigal, or wether we are Mr. & Mrs. Job and family,
or even sometimes wondering if we're being punished......!
Since we worship at
home, we don't know anyone we can have a like-minded conversation with
or who could be of support, let alone pray with (in the same room) in Jesus'
name!
Please will you pray
with us/for us that the Lord will intervene in our lives in a miraculous
way for our daughter (altho' of course we know it's her choice to turn
round or not), and also in other ways which I haven't even mentioned where
we desperately need help in a very practical way.
We long to go HOME
- with NO-ONE left behind, but we pray so hard that before then,
the Lord would see fit to let us at least have fellowship with some of
our brothers and sisters.....
Thank you so much
- God bless.
