Crippled Girl Healed Overnight  #391

You probably know about plantar worts. You may know someone who had one or more. Did you know they can be bad enough to cripple someone? They did cripple this little girl. Walking on one hurts. Hers were extreme.
 
She was a toddler when they began on her feet. They grew and multiplied until they covered the balls of her feet (cuboids) and the bottoms of her toes. The original ones grew to be the size of adult thumbnails. These were very thick and caused the most pain.
 
Her parents bought her shoes which were two full sizes too big so they could add two pairs of foam insoles inside the shoes under her feet. The shoes were much too long which made them difficult to wear, but this was the only way the little girl could walk.
 
The three of them, parents and child, prayed for her every night after praise and thanks to our Father and other requests, but the condition worsened for nearly two years. The parents had waited because their doctor had advised that medical removal at such a young age with such thin skin would cause permanent scarring which could be bad enough to cause life long problems in walking.
 
The doctor had examined the worts several times when the little girl visited for colds, ears, etc. Their church pastor saw the worts different times. Both doctor and pastor also prayed for her.
 
I have no idea what factor determined when the miracle would occur, but one typical morning the little girl awakened and her feet were healed. Her parents cried. Her feet had been unchanged the evening before, but the worts were completely gone without physical treatment of any kind. There were no scars or and indication of any kind that the scars ever existed.
 
This miracle story was easy for me to write because the little girl was Christi. The doctor was our wonderful “Doctor Dan” Steier and the pastor was our very dear Pastor Murdoch (photo).
The moral of this story is to keep on praying and keep up your faith just as the five of us did.
