Lazarus Message for Us Today  #276

The Book of John chapter eleven tells the about Lazarus, the brother of the sisters Mary and Martha. Lazarus had become very sick and Mary and Martha sent for Yeshua (Jesus) explaining that Lazarus needed Him. Messages were delivered by foot travel, Yeshua waited, and, when He arrived, Lazarus had been dead four days and his body was rotting. Why did Yeshua wait? Why did He let Lazarus die, then bring him back to his dead body? Why not heal him before his body died?
 
The Bible says, “…for the Glory of God that the Son might be glorified through it.” This is still the main reason for miracles today. John 5:20 tells us miracles are to “make us marvel and be full of wonder and astonishment.” This is to get our attention so we will know Yeshua (Jesus) exists and still acts in our lives. When Yeshua healed the blind man in John 9:3 He said, “...this happened so the work of God might be displayed in his life.”
 
You need to believe God talks and acts today. Yeshua said to Martha in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though He may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Martha did. I do. I know for sure.
 
Yeshua (Jesus) lives and you will also after your body dies. The only question is where you will live next. Don’t worry about the death of your body. Worry about which way you will go.
