"Fwd: Annie, get your tambourine!"

CALLING ALL PROPHETIC PSALMISTS!
by Christine Darg

Terrorism is at its worst risk since the days of Hitler, observes British Home Secretary John Reid.  And the irony, he says, is that those who should be foremost in recognizing the serious nature of the threat “just don’t get it.”

Why don’t officials and opinion-makers “get it?”

It is because people forfeit the ability to exercise sound judgment when they dismiss and forget God’s moral law.

The difference between the anti-Semitism of Hitler’s time and today’s outrageous Muslim doctrine of murder and terrorism is that the Jihadists are attempting to acquire weapons of mass destruction.

It appears that the current conflict is escalating into a war that could be the prophesied "Gog and Magog" war of Ezekiel Chapters 38-39, or it could be the dress rehearsal.

According to Ezekiel 38: 5, Persia (Iran) is one of the nations confederate against Israel in the last days.  Furthermore, in verses 8 & 9, the Lord declares concerning the future that Persia and Israel’s northern enemies “in the latter years will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the Israel mountains, which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them. You [Persia and other Russian-affiliated nations] will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you."

One of our correspondents writes: “Surely this is the time when every worshipping musician and singer should take an instrument and PRAISE the LORD in the light of 2 Chronicles 20:22."  That very important verse outlines an important principle of spiritual warfare: ‘When they began singing and praising, the LORD set ambushes against the [enemies of Israel] who had come against Judah; so they were routed.’  Even in the streets of Israel, they should sing so that righteousness should reign.

Annie, don’t get your gun--get your tambourine!  The Lord has assigned to each his task (1 Corinthians 3: 5), but we especially want to invoke the prophetic psalmists at this time to do their job.

It is the HIGH PRAISES of God that put the terrorists into flight and confusion, as we learn from--

Psalm 149:  Praise Yehovah!

Sing to the LORD a new song,

And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.

Let Israel be glad in his Maker;

Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King.

Let them praise His name with dancing;

Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.

For Yehovah takes pleasure in His people;

He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.

Let the godly ones exult in glory;

Let them sing for joy on their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,

And a two-edged sword in their hand,

To execute vengeance on the nations

And punishment on the peoples,

To bind their kings with chains

And their nobles with fetters of iron,

To execute on them the judgment written;

This is an honor for all His godly ones.

Praise Yehovah!

Prophetic prognosticators continually say such-and-such a date should be a special day to pray against sinister potential activities, but we say from here on out:  every day is a day to bind the powers of darkness from carrying out their wicked deeds.  Many unseen calamities, such as suicide bombers on airplanes, are averted because we are praying and worshipping the Living God of Israel!  Halleu-Yah to the King!

Calling all Prophetic Psalmists:  Join with us for prophetic praise and worship in the Tent of Meeting August 19 in Jerusalem.
