The rapture or raptures is a deep mystery hidden within the scriptures. It is difficult to say how it will exactly be fufilled.
 
Just imagine when the disciples of Jesus lost all hope when their Messiah was being crucified. This was because the disciples were blinded in part to the hidden prophecies describing these events. But after the resurrection Jesus opened the disciples minds to understand the prophetic scriptures about his death and resurrection and their faith became even stronger in their Messiah.
 
Today christians are partially blinded to the prophetic scriptures about the rapture just as the disciples were at Christ's first coming. But one day the Lord will reveal the hidden mysteries about the rapture to all of his saints. Although I believe the vast majortiy of saints will understand after these prophetic events have taken place.
 
I do not know how the rapture will work out, but it does appear that in the Song of Solomon, Luke 12 and other scriptures there are many different clues describing these events.
