Bible Covenants
There are 8 major covenants listed in the Bible:

The Covenant with Adam

The Covenant with Noah
·
The Covenant with Abraham
·
The Covenant with Moses
·
The Covenant with Israel
·
The Covenant with David
·
The Covenant of Grace
·
The Covenant with Death and Hell
In the Hebrew scripture the word “covenant” is “berith”,
which is Strong’s # 1285. This word has the basic meaning of
“coming together; an agreement between two parties”.
The numerical value of “berith” = Tau(400) + Yod(10) + Resh(200)
+ Beth(2) = 612 = 4 x 153 (The image of Jesus).
In the Greek scripture the word “covenant” is “diatheke”,
which is Strong’s #1242. This word has the basic meaning of
“a contract, a devisory will, a covenant, a testament”.
The numerical value of “diatheke” = Delta(4) x Iota(10) x
Alpha (1) x Theta(9) x Eta(8) x Kappa(20) x Eta(8) = 4608 = 144 x 32 by
multiplication.
So how are these numbers: 32 and 144 and 153 used to glean further understanding
from the scripture?
The number “32” is used many places in scripture for “covenant”.
The 32nd time that Noah’s name is mentioned in the scripture,
God made a covenant with him. Also, in the book of Deuteronomy there
are 32 references to the Abrahamic Covenant.
The number “144” refers to the “Spirit guided life”.
Dr Ed Vallowe’s Biblical Mathematics” says that 144,000 are
sealed by the Holy Spirit before God’s judgments fall on earth. Revelation
7. Also, 144,000 are seen in heaven “having His Father’s
Name written on their foreheads”. Revelation 14.
In the construction of Noah’s ark we also see the number 144.
In Genesis 6:15 God instructs Noah to build the ark: 300 cubits x 50 cubits
x 30 cubits = 450,000 cubic cubits. This is the amount of air space
for Noah and his family and the animals. 450,000 = 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x
5 x 144. So we see that those persons who were on the ark had “Holy
Spirit guided lives” and they were “sealed” by God.
The number 153 = 1 + 2 + 3 + ……………..+16
+17 = 153 = 9 x 17. Now the number 9 represents the “fruit of
the Spirit” in a believer’s life and the number 17 represents
“victory”. Thus we can say that “spiritual victory
is brought about by bearing the fruit of the Spirit in our lives”.
If you multiply the numerical values of the Hebrew letters in “berith”,
you get the value of 1,600,000, just the number 16. The number 16
represents “love” in the Bible. In I Corinthians 13:4-8
we find 16 things about love. “Everyone that loveth, is born
of God and knoweth God”. I John 4:7.
I also noticed that the word “covenant” appears exactly 293
times in scripture. Of course, the number 293 is a prime number; we
all know that prime numbers “cannot be broken”.
So what does all this mean in relation to “covenant”.
How can we know if we are “in covenant with God”? Here
is a brief checklist:

Do we have the “fruit of the Spirit” in our
lives?

Do we have “spiritual victory” over sin,
the flesh and the devil?
·
Are we truly living a “life of love” towards
God and men?
·
Are we “sealed by the Holy Spirit”?
·
Do we really see our “covenant relationship”
with God as “unbreakable”?
·
Can we truly say that we “know God”?
