End Times and the Mahdi

I hesitate to post this, but feel that it is also
important to understand how Islam thinks and what it
is looking for.

In the news recently, we have been reading about the
President of Iran and his attempts to "bring about"
the return of the mahdi.

Who is this mahdi?  We would view him quite
differently from Islam.  If one were to read
Revelation, his identity would be easily recognizable
as the man who rides the white horse.

That man will return and bring a "seeming" peace which
will erupt within a short time to global conflict,
death and world-wide destruction.

He is NOT our Messiah, Jesus Christ.  We call him by
another name.

While we look forward to the soon return of the
Messiah, our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, other groups in
the world are looking for the return of their own
prophesied leaders.

In the case of Islam, they too believe that the world
is about to experience the return of one prophesied.

Do not be deceived.  The Bible says, (Matthew 24:24) :
 

For false christs and false prophets will rise and
show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible,
even the elect.
 

And in (Mark 13:22):
 

For false christs and false prophets will rise and
show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even
the elect.
 

There is indeed another coming, but he is NOT our
Lord, Jesus Christ who ALONE can atone for your sins.
He is another who would falsely claim to be Christ.

He will usher in a false peace.  He will reign over
the entire world.  He will work seeming wonders and
miracles and many will believe.  They will be wrong
and they will end up sharing his eternal existence in
the Lake of Fire.

Judgment will come at the hand of the TRUE Messiah,
Jesus Christ.  It will come after seven years of
Tribulation such as the world has never seen.  Those
who have aligned themselves with this false prophet
and taken his mark in their forehead or on their head
will be doomed along with him and the fallen angels to
live out their eternal existence in the abode of the
damned.

God does not wish this for anyone.  He came in human
form as Jesus Christ.  He lived a perfect life and he
died atoning for OUR sins.

We are not saved by works, deeds or any other way, but
by the GRACE of Jesus Christ ALONE.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the TRUTH and the LIFE.
There is NO OTHER way into heaven except by HIM.

But to understand and witness to those who are present
among us today and who are already deceived, I am
posting the following links.

I caution you to check them against the true words of
God.

The man described as the mahdi who is coming is NOT
Jesus Christ.  He is a false prophet.  He will deceive
many.  Do not be among those who fall for his lies.

His peace is false.

His return was prophesied thousands of years earlier
by the prophet Daniel.  He was prophesied six hundred
years earlier by the writers of the New Testament.  He
was prophesied by Jesus Christ Himself!

How much more proof do you need?
