I've done extensive research that became a book on this subject of the 6th seal meaning and timing.
 
It turns out that the 6th seal begins right before Pentecost.  Since this is 3 or 4 months away from both Passover and Tabernacles, neither of those holidays fits for the fulfillment of the whole moon turning blood red.  Also another possibility is that the moon turns red not from being a full moon eclipse, but from volcanic activity on its surface as its stirred up by Wormwood's passage.
