"Re:  Jim Bramlett's 1993, 1998, and 2005 Posting - along with "brainstormings""

Wanted to point out regarding:

Item Number 2:  "He also says that the Day of Atonement is the most likely day for Second Coming. If you add exactly 2,520 days (seven prophetic years) to October 23, 1998, you arrive on the Day of Atonement, 2005."

If one adds 2,520 days to October 23, 1998 one gets September 16, 2005.  This happens to be exactly 12 solar years from when the Oslo Accord was confirmed by the Israeli Parliament, agreed upon by it's Prime Minister on September 13, 2005.  However, this is not the Day of Atonement in 2005, (Tishri 10), according to the standardized Hebrew calendar.  Instead it is Elul 12.

All is not lost if one follows that the standardized Hebrew calendar is off one month in 2005, although I don't believe this was Ron's intention, as no stipulations on the Day of Atonement are given:

http://www.studiesintheword.org/jewish_calendar_2005.htm
http://www.studiesintheword.org/original_calendar.htm#CHARTSNEWMOONS

However, September 16, 2005 would still appear to be too late by 3 days, i.e. September 13, 2005 should be Tishri 10, the Day of Atonement in 2005.  But again we do get back to the other anniversary date of Oslo.  Again, though, instead of going by the calculated calendar one can go by the expected observed:

http://www.truthontheweb.org/2005cal.htm

Which would place Rosh Hashana on September 5th and Yom Kippur on September 14th.

Speaking of other anniversary dates, the other anniversary date of Wye is November 11, 1998 when the Israeli cabinet actually confirmed the agreement made 19 days previously by their Prime Minister to where it became binding in law.  And, of course, adding 19 days to September 16, 2005, the anniversary of the confirmation of Oslo, brings us to October 5, 2005 which is the 2nd day of Rosh Hashana according to the standardized Hebrew calendar but the first day according to when the new moon will be first visible in Jerusalem.  And, even more importantly, adding 7 prophetic years to November 11, 1998 (2520 days) brings us also to October 5, 2005.

In regard to conclusion number 3 in Jim's post as to the Second Coming of the Son of Man being in 2012.  I realize that this conclusion is based on interpretation of prophetic scripture that the world shall see tribulation 7 years after the traumatic event that we call the rapture.  However, if one uses Wye as the confirmation of the covenant with many for one week, (7 years) in Daniel 9:27, then one has used up the proof text that is normally used to justify expecting a 7 year tribulation.

What to do.  The only way from a scriptural basis to extend this 7 years another 7 is through inference.  Joseph interpreted Pharoah's dream of 7 good years for the world followed by 7 bad years (famine) for the world.  And Jacob (Israel), Joseph's father, had 7 years of work, then marriage to his bride, followed by 7 years that passed as if they were nothing to pay for his bride.  These are decent inferences but lets consider the word "tribulation" and the numbers used to verify its meaning in the Bible.  Because if we don't we may be blinded into believing the "strong delusion" when the false christ, the beast, comes on the scene after almost 7 years of tribulation.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  Matthew 24:24

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  II Thessalonians 2:11

In the book, Passion, Power, & Glory a picture had been put together, like a jigsaw puzzle, with one of the pieces being the start of the prophecied reign of the beast on April 11, 2012.  This reign would last 42 months and end on September 23, 2015 with the glorious return of the true Prince of Peace.  It is interesting to see how dates farther out seem more clear while dates closer to now seem more fuzzy.  Anyway.

Regarding the number "42" from the book "Arithmetic of God", which this book in my opinion is the closest book I've found to being inspired like the Bible, and I don't say this lightly.  Some people dismiss the book without even reading it because the penning scribe even gives the credit for the book directly to Jesus Christ.   Regardless, the book states on page 119, on "Second Coming of Jesus, "FORTY-TWO".

Let's take 42.  Number 42 is the number associated with the Coming of Jesus:  both His first coming and the two manifestations at His second advent (He came into the world the first time in the 42nd generation from Abraham).  He is coming back for His saints before the 42-month reign of the beast, perhaps 42 months before the beast's reign begins.  He will return to the earth at the end of the 42-month reign of the beast to put an end to the wicked reign.  The marvelous way in which this number works is the wonder of all wonders.  My children of God, the time is at hand!

We are now past 7 years from April 11, 2012.  However, counting back from April 11, 2012, exactly 2400 days brings us to a date that is coming up shortly, September 15, 2005.  If one figures out the number of prophetic years 2400 days is by dividing 2400 by 360 one gets 6.66 repeating.   In a post  Bob Schlenker made recently:

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2005/bobs85.htm

He points out a summit that is taking place on that same day that could be the fulfillment of "a firm covenant with many".

In a post, Jim Bramlett made recently:

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2005/jim88.htm

It is brought up that "Jacob's Trouble" is a period of 20 years.  If one subtracts exactly 20 prophetic years from April 11, 2012 one arrives to the day at July 25, 1992 which is considered by various watchers of prophecy as a prophetic day in history.  This is when Turkey's large dam across the Euphrates river becomes operational which has been seen to help fulfill Revelation 16's description of the river Euphrates drying up:

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.  Revelation 16:12

We then need to notice that scripture seems to associate the numbers 10 and 40 with tribulaton, not 7:

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.  Revelation 2:10

And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.  Number 32:13

So, applying 40 prophetic years (14,040 days) to June 7, 1967  for the tribulation just Israel shall go through one arrives at November 14, 2005 for the start of "the tribulation".  Applying another 10 years for the tribulation the world shall go through, and one arrives at exactly September 23, 2015.

Granted this is all speculation, or as some people prefer to call it "brainstorming", fitting current events to Bible prophecy.  However, it is also commanded that we watch for His return.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.  Revelation 3:3

Covenant with Many
I should have really started at the beginning of why one is adding 7 prophetic years to the date of a peace agreement between Israel and her enemies in the first place.  This doesn't come out of thin air but is based on interpretation of the following verse:

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.  Daniel 9:27

But who is "he".  One interpretation is "the antichrist" or "the spirit of antichrist" or a "false christ".  So we don't blaspheme an innocent person let's pick the one dead guy, aRaFaT.  Hey, by alternating small and large letters one can see his name as having three backwards 6's embedded in it.  And just for clarification, the Bible says there can, and are, more than one antichrist.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  I John 2:18

And aRaFat was also involved in the 1993 Oslo Accord and the one who would be in the position to "cause" the sacrifice and oblation to cease as he controlled the PLO.   But what sacrifice and oblation?  Some have said it would be the most Holy of Jewish sites, a rebuilt Jewish temple over the first temple site where the LORD appeared to David, the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.  Yet, Christians would not recognize this as their most Holy site.  In fact, the Spirit of God had left this temple and when the Son of God died, the heavy veil in the temple was ripped in two and before that generation passed away as prophecied just a few days earlier by the Son of God, the whole temple was destroyed.  Was Jesus Christ prophecying as a Prophet or was He passing judgement as a Judge over this temple.

And it is doubtful that any Christian would be allowed in a rebuilt Jewish temple anyway.  No, the most Holy of Christian sites would arguably be where the LORD appeared not to just David, but symbolically to all creation as the only begotten Son of God.  That was in Bethlehem in a manger.  That is where the Church of the Nativity has been built.

Now if this abomination that makes desolate happens in the midst of a prophetic 7 years from the Wye signing, (October 23, 1998) then adding half of 2,520 days (3 1/2 prophetic years) or 1,260 days one arrives at April 5, 2002.

On April 2, 2002,  armed Palestinian Arab terrorist forced their way into the Church of the Nativity and using priests and nuns as human shields, fought the Israel Defense Forces for 38 days till May 10, 2002.  (Note 38 days can compare to 38 years from 1967 to 2005).   Yes, abominable acts were carried out inside the Church of the Nativity during this time with desecration and the stench of urination and defecation throughout.

Not only that but adding 1,260 days to the Wye confirmation, (November 11, 1998) brings us into the midst of the siege as this is 22 days after the siege on April 2, 2002 began.  So we have multiple fulfillments of the word "confirm" and multiple fulfillments of the word "midst".

Another thing to keep in mind that November 11, 1998 plus 7 actual years brings one to November 11, 2005 which is another possibility, after October 5, 2005, for the rapture.  This is only 3 days from the possible start of the "tribulation" that one arrives at by adding 40 prophetic years to June 7, 1967 (November 14, 2005).  And it is recorded on many "rapture watch" sites, 5Doves included, that a New Zealand pastor said he had a revelation from the Lord in November 2000 (another November) that the removal of  aRaFaT would be the last sign before the rapture.  Sign of when?  On the anniversary of his removal?  As one may remember, aRaFaT was removed when he died on November 11, 2005.
