"October 4th"
Hey all,
It's interesting to note this year that Ramadan begins
the day after Rosh Hashana. Checking back to 1996, they were at least 3
weeks apart every year. If the rapture took place as many of us hope and
believe it could on the 4th, I'm sure the disappearance of many Christians
would contribute to the strong "delusion" God says he will send those who
didn't believe the Gospel. Im sure it would look like Allah wiped out a
large group of infidels to the Muslim believers before Ramadan began.
There is also an annular solar eclipse on the 3rd this
year (Israel is about 7-10 hours ahead of US time and their days begin
at evening the previous day) and another eclipse which falls directly on
the Feast of Tabernacles. Though I don't know the validity of or remember
exactly where I read it, I believe the Koran states that the antichrist
revelation and return of Jesus will be signified by two eclipses in the
month of Ramadan. The war will begin the year following that sign.
Elul 1 (September 3rd-4th) this year could be extremely
significant if it is a precursor to the rapture. During Elul, Jewish people
would prepare themselves and repent and their fates for the upcoming time
period (the following year) were determined. Those who were not accepted
were given an additional "ten days" to repent from Rosh Hashana to Yom
Kippur to get right with God (eg the tribulation). The first two days--
(no one knows the day nor hour, the only 2 day feast) Rosh Hashana, the
7 year tribulation, and then Yom Kippur inclusive seem to make up the 10
days Jesus refers to in Revelation while addressing Smyrna. We shall see
soon.
