The christians of today are relying in the power of politics rather than in the power of the Almighty.  These BIG FAT CHURCHES of today are so involved in politics that they forgot about the power of prayer and getting their "hands dirty" and helping the poor and the meek.  A lot of christian conservatives of today think that the problem relies in the liberal churches only, but they need to take a good look at themselves and take the HUGE LOG out of their own eyes.  One day I was thinking seriously about all the changes taking place in the churches of today,  and a strong thought came to my mind that they have put aside the power of the Holy Spirit because they got impatient or tired of persevering in their ministries of bringing  the lost to Jesus.
 
The falling away of the faith is happening in liberal churches and the so called "conservative churches" of today.  I believe they are conservatives in the sense that they believe in keeping all the wealth to themselves...They too with the liberal one's will be judged.
 
The true chuch of Christ is a humble one that serves all people and keeps a good goal of reaching out to the lost, hungry, poor, and meek.  When Jesus walked the earth he hung out with the so called "second, third, and fourth class" people because as he stated "they need me.." .  A lot of churches today are not following in His footsteps.
