EXCERPT:

According to a Yahoo News story, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the terrorist organization Hamas are making it clear that the ending of the 38-year Israeli presence in Gaza is not about to usher in a new era of peace for a region torn by five years of conflict. Abbas is quoted in the story as saying, "After that it must stop the settlements and its judaising of Jerusalem. Those who continue with these measures show they do not want peace." The Gaza pullout, you see, is simply a "first step" toward peace coming or so we're being led to believe.
