You go, GF! I've been wondering for quite some time now... Since the Lord says that when He returns, things will be as in the days of Noah, and since the Lord told Noah that in another 7 days, He would bring the rains... if those of us who are God's today will be warned in advance like that of the Rapture? It would sure be great, huh? We could hurry up and warn our loved ones, and those of us with sites could warn the world. Of course, as in Noah's instance, he preached to them for 120, and at the end there was still only one righteous man and his family that were saved! Tells us something, right?

As for a 9/11 incident, I pray every single day, as I'm sure many of you do, that He will Divinely protect His own until the day that Yeshua returns to take us Home. Before He destroyed the earth with a flood, and before He destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah, here's what happened:

...but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. (Luke 17:29)

and

...until the day that Noe entered into the Ark, and knew not until the Flood came and took them all away; (Matthew 24:37-39)

In fact, when Lot wanted hesitated to leave the city for fear that the Lord would also destroy the city he was planning to escape to, the angel of the Lord told him,

"Hurry, escape there, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there." Therefore the name of the town was called Zoar. (Genesis 19:22

In all three cases, He removed His people from harm's way first before passing judgment. Since He never changes, I see no reason to think it will be any different for us. Perhaps the Rapture will occur first... I pray that's the case.
