"Iran Obtains Tritiuim To Bolster Nukes"

LONDON [MENL] -- Iran continues to acquire dual-use substances for its nuclear weapons program.

The Iranian opposition said Teheran has scoured countries in Europe and Asia for dual-use chemicals meant to facilitate nuclear weapons production. The opposition said some of the countries approached have been allies of the United States, including France and Germany.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran said representatives from the Islamic regime in Teheran targeted South Korea for tritium. The hydrogen isotope has been used to increase the impact of nuclear explosions. South Korea has 20 nuclear power plants.

"The regime has tried to smuggle it in from South Korea," NCRI official Ali Safavi told a news conference in Brussels on Thursday.
