JNW HEADLINE NEWSFBI: Islamic Jihad planned to attack Americans

An FBI agent told a Florida court Tuesday the Islamic Jihad Palestinian terror group had plotted to carry out attacks against American citizens inside the United States.
Kerry Myers was testifying in Tampa in the case against college professor Sami Al-Arian and three other Arab-American men accused of providing material support to terrorist organizations operating out of areas under the Palestinian Authority's control.
Myers was unable to provide details of the planned attacks as the information remains classified.
On Wednesday night, IDF soldiers killed five Islamic Jihad terrorists, including three senior commanders, in an anti-terror raid on the Samaria town of Tulkarm.
The IDF Spokesman said Thursday that Tulkarm had become “the center of the Islamic Jihad terror organization in Samaria,” despite PA promises in June to curb all terrorist activity in the town after the Israelis handed over security control there.
The army said wanted Islamic Jihad terrorists now operate freely in Tulkarm, “while the Palestinian Authority turns a blind-eye to their activities.”
PA “president” Mahmoud Abbas Thursday slammed Israel's anti-terror operation in Tulkarm as a “deliberate provocation” of the Palestinian Arabs.
Islamic Jihad is a sister organization of the Hamas terrorist movement, which earlier this month declared that Christian Zionism, which counts among its ranks tens of millions of Americans, is its enemy and can expect to be targeted by the Muslim killers.
