"Those in Christ are NOT appointed to God's wrath"

Matthew 25 is indeed a picture of the rapture.  The 5 wise virgins were looking for the bridegroom and their oil lamps were full. The five foolish did not really believe in the imminent coming of the bridegroom.

The catching away of the body of Christ...and the coming of the Lord in the clouds is the BLESSED HOPE.
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thess, 4:16-18).

Luke 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

This indicates when Christ returns at the Second Coming he will be returning from a wedding.

Revelation 19: 7.8

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
