Although this article lists all the problems driving the price of oil up it and others seem to ignore the questions about how we could develop and switch to alternative fuels.  Israel uses solar power and puts their hot water heaters on their rooftops.  Surely in this country of such intelligence there are other solutions.  But I guess the government is so tied up with the money grubbing oil owners in this country that no changes will be made until the very last drop of oil leaves the spigot. . . by then it will be too late.
