"A BASKET OF SUMMER FRUIT"

A BASKET OF SUMMER FRUIT AND THE LAW OF THE FRUIT TREES

                                                                       A WILDERNESS CLUE

The 7-year current Israeli Sabbatical cycle runs as follows:

Year 1   September 18, 2001 through September 6, 2002
Year 2   September 7, 2002 through
September 26, 2003
Year 3   September 27, 2003 through
September 15, 2004
Year 4  September 16, 2004 through
October 3, 2005
Year 5   October 4, 2005 through
September 22, 2006

Year 6   September 23, 2006 through September 12, 2007

Year 7   September 13, 2007 through September 29, 2008

Year 8   September 30, 2008 through September 19, 2009 – Yeshua returns as the dead in Christ rise and those alive in wilderness and earth are given glorified bodies (I Thess. 4:16-17).

Year of Jubilee begins in Millennium October 14, 2008

An understanding of the current seven-year Sabbatical cycle is essential in grasping the urgency of the times we are living and how short and fast it is fleeting.

BUT HOLD ON WHEN DID IT START?

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3)

A Sabbatical cycle is 7 weeks of 7-years totaling 49 years plus 1 jubilee year completing a 50-year Jubilee cycle. Therefore 120 Jubilee cycles of 50 years equals the 6000 years of the days of man.

Consequently, at creation it was established and proclaimed that there would be 6000 years of the days of man followed by a 1000-year reign of The Messiah. Therefore, please pay close attention, as God wants His people to know what time it is on His calendar, the countdown has commenced!

                                                                 6000 YEARS FROM CREATION

Tishri 1, 1 to Tishri 1, 6001 CE = 6000 years that ended on 9-17-2001

Tishri 1, 4000 BC to Elul 29, 2001 or 9-17-01 = 6000 years

3999.33 years plus 2000.67 years = 6000 years

Note: 1 BC to 1 CE equals one year, as there is no year zero. Hence 3999.33 + 2000.67 = 6000 years

                                           WHAT ABOUT THESE LAST SEVEN

Adam and Eve were set-apart with God for one sabbatical week from: Tishri 1, 1 to Tishri 1, 8 so  actually we are completing the last 7 years of the 6000 years appointed to man because the count did not start till year 8. Therefore by adding 8 + 6000 = 6008 years that completes this last sabbatical week that started on September 18, 2001!

THE LAW OF THE FRUIT TREES

There is a law in Leviticus 19:23-25 pertaining to fruit trees. It says:
23  When you enter the land and plant all kinds of  trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. Three years it shall be forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten.
24   But in the FOURTH year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD.
25   In the fifth year you are to eat of its fruit, that its yield may increase for you; I am the LORD your God.

Simply stated,
Israel was not allowed to eat the fruit from their newly planted trees for three years. During this time, the fruit was purifying itself. It is in the FOURTH year that all the fruit was to be taken to the Tabernacle/Temple and offered to the Lord.

I believe Yeshua returns on Sept. 30, 2008 and tabernacles with us 14 days later. We, being representative of the house of Israel, will then in a spiritual sense become a type of first fruits offering to Him along with the house of Judah!  However in a physical sense we will be tilling the soil and preparing the fruit trees for millennial abundance!

Then, in the fifth year as “children of the King”, will be free to eat and market our crop and by God’s grace and mercy be in the Millennium with Yeshua our King!

So how does the law of the fruit trees relate to our “Greater Exodus” into the wilderness?

Leviticus 23:17 says that the two loaves baked with leaven and waved before the Lord at the Feast of Shavuot, a harvest feast, are "First fruits unto the Lord." Leaven represents sin, and the two loaves represent two distinct categories of redeemed sinners: the tribe of Judah and the house of Israel.

The harvest feast that precedes Shavuot in the springtime, and falls on the day after Passover, is called the Feast of First fruits. However this feast is free of leaven, and a sheaf of barley called the "Sheaf of the First fruits"  is waved before the Lord picturing the sinless, resurrected Messiah.

THE PARABLE OF THE VINEYARD KEEPER’S FIG TREE

We are now in the FOURTH year of a Sabbatical cycle, the significance is that by my understanding, we will be in the wilderness the last three plus years and according to the Levitical law , the first fruits of the fruit trees were to be taken to the Temple in the FOURTH year and offered before the Lord, paralleling the waving of the two leavened loafs on Shavuot (Lev. 23:17).

If the first fruits of the fruit trees represent ALL of remnant Israel, Messianic Judah and the house of Israel as the “grafted in Messianic Gentiles, that means we could very well appear before the Lord on the Feast of Tabernacles at the end of the seventh year of this current Sabbatical cycle.

If the “144,000 and all “Messianic
Israel is sealed before 10-3-05? Then as this FOURTH year in her Sabbatical cycle draws to a close our “wilderness experience” is near as well!

Luke 13:6-9 tells us:
6  And He began telling this parable: A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard: and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any.
7  And he said to the vineyard-keeper, Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?
     8  And he answered and said to him, Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;
9  and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.

APPLYING THIS TO THE SUMMER OF 2005

Matthew 24:32 "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near.

The past three years the Palestinians, along with the manifold terrorist groups affiliated with them, have relentlessly attacked Israel and have caused them great suffering and heartache. Yet there has been no national repentance, and Israel's leadership continues to look to man rather than their God for deliverance.

The fig tree represents Israel and apostate Christianity is crying for
Israel to be cut down as numerous church denominations are trying to strangle Israel with threats of divestiture if the Israelis do not cave in to every single Palestinian demand.

Numerous countries, including Russia and the United States, are entertaining schemes to help arm the Palestinian police. (it is assumed that the arms will not be used against Israel !!)

Three years the vineyard-keeper, God Almighty, has looked for fruit on Israel's fig tree, but has found none. He currently sees Israel preparing to give away its Covenant Land in Gaza and the West Bank, with more land also to be given away in Jerusalem in the near future.

GRACE EXTENDED AS DAYS ARE SHORTENED

In the parable, the long suffering vineyard-keeper refuses the Devil's request (Satan is an accuser) to cut down the fruitless fig tree. Luke 13:8 indicates the Lord's patience will extend one more year, which will be YEAR FOUR. Israel is currently in the FOURTH year of a Sabbatical cycle which extends from September 16, 2004 through October 3, 2005. There are less than two months left in this fourth year.

THE WILDERNESS YEARS

Hosea 2:14-15.

"I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness…And I will give her vineyards from thence"

Ezekiel 36:8-10 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. (9) For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: (10) And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:

1st Year in wilderness includes any time between now and Oct. 3, 2005
2ND Year in wilderness - October 4, 2005 through September 22, 2006

3rd Year in wilderness - September 23, 2006 through September 12, 2007

4th Year in wilderness - September 13, 2007 through September 29, 2008

5th Year in wilderness - September 30 through October 9, 2008 Yeshua returns as the dead in Christ rise and those alive in wilderness and on earth are given glorified bodies (I Thess. 4:16-17).

Year of Jubilee begins in Millennium Oct. 14, 2008

We are also told in Luke 13:8 that the Lord is going to dig around the fig tree and fertilize it. If  spiritual Israel is going to be taken to the “wilderness” possibly before the disengagement period goes into effect on August 15, 2005, we could be fertilizing the land 7-weeks before year number FOUR expires on 10-3-05.

Before this FOURTH year of this Sabbatical cycle ends, we, by God’s mercy, as “remnant believers” having the “testimony of Yeshua and by keeping His commandments” could very well be taken to the wilderness and by being part of the fig tree, as Israel’s redeemed we will be “given a new heart and a new spirit will be put into us” Ezekiel 36:26.
