"Salvation for the Jewish people "at hand""

Dear friends:

This latest report from Tom Cooper in Israel is profound.  It is about the "veil" lifting from the eyes of Israel.

In Romans 11:25, God says, "Blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."

Remember, we recently shared evidence about the end of "the times of the Gentiles."  That is exactly what Romans 11:25 is talking about, and its connection with spiritual blindness being removed from Israel!  This is just more evidence that the end of the times of the Gentiles is at hand.

Especially note Tom's paragraph near the end about the 14th World Congress of Jewish Studies meeting in Jerusalem and their study emphasis.  That is truly amazing, and no doubt supernatural.

Tom ends his newsletter with this statement: "I want to encourage you that God is moving, and while we will have to suffer for a short while, eternity in His glorious presence is about to dawn."

Let us join with Tom and pray for the Jewish people.

God bless you,

Jim

THE ISRAEL REPORT
Aug 23, 2005

If you have spent anytime at my website http://theisraelreport.com and looked around a bit, you have come to know that I am not simply trying to send relevant news bytes, but that God has given me a much larger view of what needs to be done in the days ahead.

I have a desire to do many practical and tangible things that will bless the Israeli believers, as well as the Jewish public in general. I want to create business, and a unique home building company all that will provide jobs, and stability while impacting the Israeli society.

The other part of the vision is spiritual in nature, and one of the primary focus points is the need for an Intercessory Prayer and Worship Center in which only Yeshua is exalted, and those who are called into this ministry can find a place to sit at the feet of the King and hear His voice in order to know how to pray until His coming. I believe this is an urgent need, no doubt more so than even the physical needs.

If you have read very much of what I have written you also know I have felt very strongly about our need to pray for the salvation of the Jewish people. I have had a few confirmations in the last couple of days that I would like to share with you.

A dear friend of mine is from Papua New Guinea and she is about five feet tall and packed with dynamite. She prays, and God moves. Her pastor who is the son of a powerful evangelist has been running an intercessory prayer ministry in Papua New Guinea for several years and has seen many miraculous moves of God in answer to prayer. He is currently waiting on the Lord to direct his path during the days ahead as he feels God is calling him to a different place. He came to Israel for the last month or so to hear from the Lord. I told him about the burden I have to see this prayer ministry birthed in Israel, and I explained a little about what I have in mind. I asked him to give me his feelings on it since this was the area of ministry in which he moves. He didn't say too much, (he is not given to much chatter) and after not hearing from him about it for a few weeks I forgot about it and thought he must have as well. Of course knowing he was a man of deep prayer I really should have realized that he would take this into prayer before saying anything.

A couple of days ago, he came to my office and told me he wanted to pray with me. He asked me about other prayer ministries in Jerusalem and Israel, and one in particular, and I told him I didn't have a lot of knowledge about them other than what I have heard, and some of that is good and some of that is bad. He then asked me what was different about what I wanted to do? I thought for a minute, and then explained that while many people come from around the world to support and volunteer in Israel, and they think of themselves as Zionists, I find that a large number are more concerned with the welfare of the Arabs than they are with the Jews. Others don't really understand the dynamics of the situation here, or of the true mindset and ways of the Jewish people, or of the urgency to pray for their salvation.

My vision is for a ministry that is focused on the salvation of the Jewish people, and the critical situations facing them. This house of prayer will be populated by primarily Jewish believers living in the land. It is a place where Yeshua is the only one on the throne, and nobody is making a name for himself, or trying to push an agenda. This is to be a place where true intercession takes place which means people gifted in intercession finding a place of refuge, and provision, and being able to minister to the Lord and wait on Him in order to truly hear His voice in order to pray according to His will. This is not meant to be a place for gathering an hour or two; this is true full time intercession by people whom God has called to be a part of the ministry. This will not be a profit center, but a prayer center. Quietly hidden away in a strategic part of Jerusalem, and possibly with another center in the north of the country.

My friend then looked at me and said he had some things to say, and then he wanted to pray. First he assured me that God was with me, and that He had anointed this vision. He then told me that during his prayer time about this issue, God told him that he was not to worry about the government of Israel, or the governments of the world because they are all well in His control, but that the salvation of the Jews was at hand, He didn't know if "at hand" meant days, or weeks, or months, but it was definitely coming in the very near future. God told him that his mission was to pray for the veil to be lifted. This was a confirmation of the vision for the prayer center that I have wanted to establish. He then prayed in agreement with me that the Lord would bring everything together to provide every need, and that the Lord would give His protection over my family, and myself and all who would be involved.

This was a welcome encouragement as I have faced great opposition from the enemy since moving my family to Israel seven years ago. It has been a time of tremendous testing, breaking and growth. Had I known what I would be facing, I would never have come, but today I wouldn't trade the experience for anything in the world, for today I know my Lord more deeply than I ever could have without the trials.

At the same time I was receiving this message, a Jewish believer from Peru whom I had assisted came to speak to my friend Eli (who is fluent in Spanish) to give a word from the Lord for us.She said that the salvation of the Jewish people was nearly upon us, but that Israel would go under terrible persecution directly afterwards.

I have had others share their feeling that the veil is about to be lifted over the past year or so, and this summer Heidi Baker came to Jerusalem and shared that there was a time of extreme suffering about to come to Israel, but that God was going to be with His people and that we needed to be centered in His heart to make it through. Another friend just e-mailed a word that she has received that we are about to enter a time in which life in the Spirit will eclipse anything we have experienced in the past, but that life in the flesh was going to be harder than it has ever been.

All I can say is lift up your heads for your redemption draweth neigh.

I believe in the depth of my heart that God is about to visit His people.

This past month, the 14th World Congress of Jewish Studies met in Jerusalem, this is a worldwide group of Jewish Rabbis and Academics that was created just prior to World War ll, to warn and prepare the Jewish people about the threat posed by Hitler and Nazi Germany. The subject they chose to discuss this time was "What happened to Jesus' Haftorah?" I will try and give you a better explanation in another e-mail, but the question is basically why are so many scriptures that are Messianic and associated with the life and death of Yeshua missing from the weekly readings in the synagogues around the world? Who removed them, who forbade them, and why? They made some remarkable references to these scriptures in light of the gospels and the fulfillment of these scriptures by Jesus, and departed the conference with the agreement to study these issues further over the coming year.

The veil is lifting, God is about to save His people, and we need to partake in this eternal event.

No matter how bad the news, no matter how much it looks like the enemy is unchained, I want to encourage you that God is moving, and while we will have to suffer for a short while, eternity in His glorious presence is about to dawn.

Hallelujah.
