You Look Very Happy!
 

Indeed I am!

My sins are washed away,
I’m happy every day;
I have joy and peace within.
The Lord saved my soul,
Cleansed and made me whole;
And now, He’s my dearest friend. 

O yes, the trials come,
Often ere the day is done;
Yet they vanquish not my joy and peace.
Though I struggle neath  the load,
And often walk a lonely road;
My precious Savior gives release. 

I go to Him in prayer,
And He lifts my every care;
Tears of joy then freely flow.
I’m as happy as can be,
For my Lord has set me free;
So I don’t live in gloom and woe. 

No matter what may come,
Before this life is done;
My Savior will guide me all the way.
I will walk heart in heart with Him,
Though the light be bright or dim;
And He’ll keep me happy every day.
