"Don't become discouraged....."

Dear John,

    In view of events occurring in Israel, I think this little tidbit should be enlightening and encouraging to your readers.

In Israel

    Don’t wring your hands in despair, just keep watching, praying, and studying the Word

    I have pointed out many times to my readers that The Psalms is one of the greatest books of prophecy in God’s Word. Each of the Psalms corresponds with the years of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in ascending numerical order.  By this I mean that Psalm 1 corresponds with 1901, Psalm 2 with 1902, etc.  Study the Psalms closely, comparing them with the year represented by the Psalm, and you will be amazed by the historical [and present] correlation.  Having reemphasized this point, let’s now look at an amazing prophecy in the Psalms that is right up to date, and which has been almost totally overlooked or ignored by students of Bible prophecy.

    In Psalm 60:6-8 [corresponding with 1960] we read,

    “God hath spoken in His holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

    Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the strength of Mine head;  Judah is my lawgiver;

    Moab is My washpot; over Edom will I cast out My shoe:  Philistia, triumph thou because of Me.”

    Now let’s compare this with Psalm 108:7-9 [corresponding with 2008],

    “God hath spoken in His holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

    Gilead is Mine: Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the strength of Mine head; Judah is My lawgiver;

    Moab is My washpot; over Edom will I cast out My shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.”

    Folks, do you see what is stated in these verses?  Do you get the picture?

    In 1960 [corresponding with Psalm 60] God said that He would cause the Philistines [Palestinians] to triumph.  Wasn’t it about 1960 that Arafat began his slow but steady rise to power?  Well?  What does Daniel 2:20-21 say about WHO sets up and removes rulers?  See also Daniel 4:17.

    But also notice that even in 1960 God laid claim to Shechem,” and “the valley of Succoth,” and “Gilead,” and “Manasseh,” and “Ephraim,” and Judah,” and Moab,” and Edom.”  Glory!   Look up all these places on your Bible maps and rejoice.  All of these places are in the hands of the Muslims todayShechem, Ephraim, and Judah specifically include parts of the west bank being given to the Palestinians today by the Sharon government. The valley of Succoth, Gilead, Manasseh, Moab, and Edom are all on the east side of the Jordan river, and are a part of Syria and Jordan today. But clear back in 1960 God made it clear in His prophetic Word that those areas belong to Him, and He will ultimately take them.

    When?

    Psalm 108 [corresponding with 2008] clearly states, over Philistia will I triumph.”  This makes it clear that the Palestinians [Philistia] will be defeated; that God will “triumph” over them on behalf of His people. This certainly suggests that the Palestinians will be defeated and driven from those lands in or about 2008.  This places this event in about the third year of the Tribulation.  Glory!

    Folks, the Lord is in control.  He knows what He is doing.  He does all things well.  While wicked men think they are working their schemes and plans, Almighty God is only giving them enough rope to hang themselves.  Read Psalm 9:15-18.  Pray for the Jewish people.  They need our prayers. Pray for their salvation.  Seek to draw close to the Lord yourself.  Don’t fret, complain, or despair.  Just trust the Lord in everything, pray continually, and stay in His Word. He will bring His people [Jew and Gentile believers] forth to the light.  Glory!
