Tel Aviv Rally: People As Far As The Eye Can See
More than 250,000 people have crowded Tel Aviv's Rabin Square and countless thousands are trying to join none of the largest-ever demonstrations in Israel. A rally several years ago during the Oslo agreements and proposed withdrawal from the Golan Heights filled the square and surroundings with more than 250,000 people, according to media estimates."There are people as far as the eye can see," said one participant. Dr. Avi Zelba, police spokesman for foreign reporters, said the police do not estimate crowds and that all press reports of police estimates are not authoritative.
