The Muslims' calendar follows the moon cycle ... just like the Jewish calendar.  The only difference is that the Muslims do not have that "adjusting" month of Adar II.  And they could not have it because Islam is a satanic rewriting of the Tanah and the Writings of the Witnesses (New Testament).
