I think I've posted something like this before but it bears repeating.

Strive for the Abrahamic life-style!

What do I mean by that?

We are sooo close to Yeshua's Call ... divest yourself of this world!!!  Loose the entanglements!

What do you need big houses for unless you have the people to fill it?  Be careful to realize your needs in your housing and don't be driven by your desires.  Our magnificent mansions will be with Yeshua, not here on earth.

And even "owning" real-estate property.  Let it be The Father Who leads you to do that.

Why do you need the newest car?  Put the money into what you have and keep it serviceable.  You will definitely know when it must be "put-to-pasture" but in the mean time, don't be snared by the auto advertising.  Gas guzzling, hummers?  Tank-like SUV?  Macho pick-up trucks?  Fast cars?  What message are you sending?

Why do you need the lastest in gadgets, computers, stereo, TV, etc.?  Just how fast and how far do you need to communicate?  And what kind of stuff are you "downloading" into your very soul?

Keep your life simple ... and "portable" ... and if that doesn't fit-in with the crowd you're going with, maybe you're with the wrong crowd!!  The wilderness is not a bad place to be ... as long as YHVH/Yeshua/Ruach HaKodesh are there!  Believe me they are better than any human companion!

Abraham was indeed a wealthy man, with many people under his care.  BUT you know what, he lived in a tent ... and all his wealth could be moved at a moments notice!  Obviously he was not a farmer.  But then how many of you are farmers?

If you don't "divest" ... you will be so busy trying to keep earthly things together that your EYES and EARS will not be where they should be!
